Project for Chapter 5

You should have received a class list that will have show you what group you are in and the contact info for you group members.

Being part of a group can be a very rewarding educational and social experience!  One of the best ways to have a great group experience this semester is to sustain and support your other group members and help them succeed, as you do this you will ensure that you will be successful.

The focus of the groups is to prepare and deliver the Group paper (8%) /Presentations (8%). Total of 16% of you grade.  Which occurs near the end of the semester.

As you see your group members names and emails, it is up to each of you to make contact with your other group members.  

Do the following and then submit it as you Chapter 5 Project

Needs to be completed by Friday, October 8th

1. Each of you is to make contact with the other members of your group.  This might be an exchange of emails, zoom contact, google docs etc. etc.  

2.  You are to learn something unique about each of the other members of your group. You will submit the names of your group members and what is unique about them

 For example if I was in a group I would share this with my team members to put in the assignment

Jim Clark – grew up in Southern Alberta, went to university in Utah and London, Ontario. Jim is bilingual in French and English; his bilingual daughters say that Jim lies about being bilingual because his French is so bad!

3.  Your Group must Pick a topic----- you and your team will research for your team paper and presentation – (You cannot choose #1 Social Media as Business Tools Topic). (http://jimclark.ca/3061AF20/trp.htm list of topics.)

4. Give a brief note (two sentences about how your group plans to stay in contact to collaborate this semester to complete your group paper and presentation.

If for some reason you cannot make contact with a group member that is on your list and you give it your best effort to have them get back to you and the rest of your group then proceed without them.    Also let me know if you have a team member that is not keeping in contact.

Very soon I will give you details on the group paper and presentation so that as a group, you can make some early decisions that start getting your group prepared
